Ingredients

  • Meat sauce:
  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1 onion finely chopped

  • 3 cloves garlic minced

  • 1 can 14 ounces of crushed tomatoes

  • 1 can 6 ounces of tomato paste

  • 1 teaspoon dried basil or fresh basil

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • Béchamel sauce:
  • 2 tablespoons dairy-free butter olive oil or margarine

  • 3 tablespoons gluten-free all-purpose flour

  • 2 cups unsweetened dairy-free milk such as almond, soy or gluten-free oat milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

  • Additional ingredients:
  • 12 gluten-free lasagna noodles

  • 2 cups dairy-free mozzarella-style cheese shredded (optional)

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
