Plus, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot for a casual meal with friends or family.
  • Mount Desert Island Ice Cream offers a great selection of gluten-free ice creams and sorbets. All are handmade in-house with locally-sourced ingredients. Customers rave about the unique and creative flavors, like the blueberry basil sorbet and the Mexican chocolate ice cream. Additionally, the staff at Mount Desert Island Ice Cream are knowledgeable and accommodating to customers with dietary restrictions. They keep nut-free scoops, gluten-free scoops and a dairy-free scoops that don’t mingle with regular scoops in the dip well. They will use these scoops if requested and offer nut-free sprinkles on request.
